Lunar New Year celebrations often have dragon dances, so this zodiac dragon is gettin’ down with its traditional pearl of wisdom doubling as a bright disco ball of well wishes! This notecard’s new gold envelope and sticker seal have a matching zodiac with a fun pun that plays on the Mandarin pronunciation of "dragon" (lóng).

ABOUT THE SERIES

As an Asian American, I designed these to bridge the gap between my Chinese and American cultures, inviting engagement and sharing over New Years traditions regardless of the recipient’s background.

• Notecard format allows for writing and connection, similar to a traditional American greeting card, while decreasing the pressure of money-giving.
• Envelope allows for the continuation of Chinese money-giving tradition, if desired, at USPS’s single-stamp size for easy sending to far away loved ones.
